As part of ASCF commitment to Education, if your workplace, local school or community organisation would like to have a guest speaker share their story about how skin cancer has affected them please contact us.
An example of the power of educating the workplace: after Jay Allen ASCF founder, presented to Spotless in Brisbane (photo below), one of the workers attending the presentation went home and urged his daughter to have a skin check as she had been complaining about a freckle. He took his daughter to a dermatologist the next day where the freckle was removed. Pathology results came back that it was a melanoma.
The education presentation possibly saved this young lady’s life.
